We aim to make life easy...
...by providing everything you might need. You probably don't come to Durham to do the washing,
or the ironing, but for those occasions when you need them there's a built-in washer/dryer, iron
and ironing board.
We have been to places where you can't find a corkscrew; we've been to places with a sink but no plug.
We have tried to think of everything, from our own experience and helped by guests' suggestions,
which could make your self-catering experience in Durham even better than you'd expected.
What's in the fridge ?
In the fridge you'll find the essentials for your first morning's breakfast:
- Semi-skimmed milk
- Orange juice (proper stuff, not from concentrate)
- A bottle of pleasantly dry white wine
- Croissants
- Jam, Marmalade and Butter
(Most guests drink the wine the night before, but it's still good in the morning apparently, mixed with the orange juice!)
If you'd prefer something different, just let us know.
- and in the freezer ?
Ice. And often, for some reason we can't fathom, many guests leave behind half a bag of frozen peas...
